alice

While visiting my Sister, Peter and Leila over the weekend up in Oly I took a quick trip over to Bonney Lake to visit Alice. For those of you who don't know Alice check out her website. I haven't seen Alice in a really long time. I think we determined that is has been just over one year since we last saw each other, and before that it had been quite some time before we saw each other last. It was great to see her again, she is doing well and has a ton of new paintings. I got to hang out with her parents and meet a small portion of her incredibly large family (she's one of 6, and her parents have something like 50 grandkids.. sheesh.. and no they are not mormon). Sometime soon I'll have to make another trek up there to see her and Jaime (Seattle Jaime).

Speaking of Jaime, yesterday I received a call from portland Jaime. She is another person that I haven't seen or spoken too in quite some time, very close to a year. I was glad to hear that She, Nick and their almost two-year old son are doing well. She is loving Berkeley (of course) and most of all her job, which is awesome. She called to give me some information and tips for my trip to Europe. She has been to Europe a few times including a recent trip with her husband Nick. She gave me a lot of good tips and it was nice to hear from her. We didn't talk about much else other than Europe and catching up with each other.
