That's an awesome article. I especially like these parts
"John McCain's family owns at least eight properties — not the seven Democrats are alleging or the four McCain's staff ",
"A McCain campaign aide who did not want to be identified discussing the McCain's personal finances, told Politico this summer that — other than the primary Phoenix residence — the new condos were "purchased for investment and are available for personal use by the McCain family."
Oh but I really like this one.
"The McCains increased their budget for household employees from $184,000 in 2006 to $273,000 in 2007, according to John McCain's tax returns."
Wow, $273,000/yr for household employees. That's quite a big chunk of change to be spending on cleaners, gardeners, etc. especially for a "down home country boy" that isn't part of the "elitist" society.
In regards to registering a plane to a business. Of course that's what you do for a multitude of business including tax writeoff, avoiding taxes, legal liability, etc. etc.
I'm not picking on an old man, I'm expressing an opinion on a potential president of the United States that has the power to steer our economy, take us in/out of war, increase/decrease our taxes, strengthen/weaken our foreign policies and a number of other items that could directly affect my life, the lives of all Americans and the lives of billions of people around the world.
I personally find it extremely interesting that we have one candidate that owns a single house (granted a really, really nice 1.8M house) and another that owns quite a number of them as well as cars, trucks, planes, etc. As informed voters we must take in all available information and form our decision. What matters to one person may not matter as much to the next person.

I believe the McCains have seven grown children, possible some of those vehicle belong to some of them. Lets see at one point your dad and I had two trucks, a sports car, a boat, and you had a subaru, a small pick up...
You are comparing Apples and Oranges..
Not very truthful...so what is the problem with Cindy McCain having money???
The jet is the business..
