Panel participant: Open Media Publishing Tools

I was invited to participate in an open panel discussion about "Open Media Publishing Tools". If you're asking yourself huh? Well then here is the blurb....

"Why are so many academic and public media institutions attempting to create alternatives to YouTube? What needs do these institutions have that can't be satisfied with existing commercial applications? What then are the imperatives to construct an open source media system?"

Notice the last sentence involved "Open Source" I can only imagine that is why I was asked to participate. Whatever the reason was for inviting me I'm excited to attend.
